This is good with Gnocchi, with Perle di Gnocchi and simply delicious with gluten free Pasta Orechiette
Ingredients (for single serving)
75grams Broccoli florets
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tablespoon of Pine Nuts Salt and Pepper to taste
Grated Pecorino cheese
Cook the broccoli until tender. Drain and place in a bowl. Add the pine nuts, salt, pepper and olive oil. Blend together. Taste, and if required add a little more olive oil.
When the Gnocchi or Perle di Gnocchi are cooked remove with a slotted spoon, put into a serving dish and spoon over the sauce. Mix gently, generously sprinkle over some grated Pecorino cheese (if Pecorino not available substitute with grated Parmesan).
