For over four hundred years, the shape known as Fusilli (known also as Spirali) has been made in Molise, Central Italy.  For centuries Fusilli were made completely by hand, with master Pasta makers winding a length of spaghetti around  a long skewer to form the typical spiral shape that is Fusilli.

The manufacturers  of Farabella have carefully selected a range of speciality shaped gluten free and wheat free Italian made pastas  to be marketed under the Farabella label.  These pastas reflect the same high quality and attention to detail as Farabella's own pasta production, but has allowed them to offer "Artisnal" shapes to an international audience.

Drossa is pleased to be able to offer FUSILLONI (extra large Fusilli)  gluten free  pasta to add even greater variety to gluten free and wheat free meals.  Serve it as they do in Molise with a hearty lamb based sauce, or create a summer sauce with a variety of vegetables (peas, small broad beans, aubergine and peppers with some fresh tomatoes), or with any creamy or sea food sauce.
